Mobility Scooters and Powerchairs

As an established retailer, we have good relationships with various brands and can supply new mobility scooters and powerchairs at competitive prices. We are also committed to your aftercare needs, ensuring that you have what you need to look after your product; available for support, servicing and repairs as needed.

Our stock of second-hand scooters and chairs is mainly sourced from Motability customers who have come to the end of their lease, when they move on to another product. This means that we have known them well for up to three years and have their complete service history. Committed to matching you with the right product for your needs, we may recommend an alternative to the item you originally enquire about or suggest you wait for a product that we know is on its way to the workshop soon.

In addition to the scooters and powerchairs themselves, we can supply you with accessories to support you in all weathers. Storage covers in various sizes, cushions, bags, waterproof seat covers, and accessory packs are all available or can be ordered on request.

Wheelchairs

We stock a variety of self-propel and transit/attendant chairs to demonstrate to you and can then take measurements to provide you with a chair that meets your needs if we do not have one immediately available. Comfort of the wheelchair user and any carers are taken into consideration when discussing and ordering, as we know that both contribute to your physical and mental wellbeing.

To fit a wheelchair to your needs, it is important that we have details of the person who will be using it, including some things you may find personal like weight and width for the seat. If you or the person you are supporting are unable to get to the shop, please call us and we can guide you through measuring, or for a more specialist item, we can come to you.

Rollators

A rollator / walker can give not only stability within the home but also the chance for safely regaining independence going out and about. All models we have available fold flat in one direction or another and have space for your belongings or shopping, and some have the option of a seat for resting while on the move. Prices vary, so we recommend you pop in and see us to try some and find what is right for you.

Looking for a chair to help you up and put your feet up? Riser recliners may be the answer. From “express” models with a quick ready-made turn around, to made to measure with pressure care, lumbar support and specialist fabrics, we can help you find something that meets your needs and considers your budget.

Indoor Walking Aids

Frames, rails and crutches to support your independence in your own home. Standard sizes in stock and the option to order in something more appropriate for you gives a range of products that can be with you in a short time. Frames come wheeled or without and we also stock additional accessories like trays and bags to help you move your belongings from room to room safely too.

Bathing and Toileting

Support in the bathroom can be so important to people in not only their independent living but also feeling good in their own body. Toilet frames raised seats, and perching stools help you use your existing bathroom comfortably, while adding a bath board, shower stool, bath seat or bath lift makes bathing accessible whether permanently or while you need it.

Personal and Continence Care

We keep a stock of continence products to suit a range of needs. Regular orders are welcome, please contact us for details. We can also help when your delivery doesn’t quite stretch as far as you would like, with occasional packs purchased directly from the shop.

Travel

From walking sticks to car stickers, we have various products to support your travel. Adjustable and folding sticks in a range of sizes and with handles that can support you whatever your grip strength or need. We stock standard crutches and pairs of sticks, and replacement ferrules to extend the life of sticks you love when they wear down from use. For the car, try a handybar for stability and a swivel cushion to help you in an out. On foot, you may benefit from a stick or crutch holder or bag to attach to your walker/rollator; no more juggling what you can hold!
